AlSi10Mg (A360)
Versatile alloy with 10% silicon, ideal balance of fluidity, strength, and pressure tightness.
AlSi10Mg (A360) offers higher fluidity than AlSi7 thanks to its elevated silicon content (~10%), facilitating thin-wall parts and complex geometries. It has good corrosion resistance and excellent pressure tightness, widely used in die casting. Available with primary or secondary aluminum base.

Key Characteristics
- Higher fluidity than AlSi7 due to higher silicon content (~10%)
- Excellent pressure tightness for hydraulic components
- Good corrosion resistance in industrial environments
- Ideal for thin-wall parts and complex geometries
- Compatible with sand, permanent mold, and die casting
- Also used in additive manufacturing (metal 3D printing)
Industries & Applications
Automotive
Transmission housings, pump bodies, structural brackets, intake manifolds
Hydraulics
Valve bodies, hydraulic manifolds, pressure-tight components
Industrial
Electric motor housings, machinery components, heavy equipment parts
Special Notes
AlSi10Mg is widely used in aluminum die casting. Its proximity to the eutectic point (12.6% Si) gives it excellent fluidity. The A360 version with low iron offers better ductility. It is also the dominant alloy in metal 3D printing (SLM/DMLS).
