Structural facade profiles for curtain wall systems in 6061-T6 alloy, with load capacity for large spans and wind pressure resistance.
Curtain wall profiles are structural facade elements that support their own weight, glazing loads, and wind pressure, transferring them to the building's primary structure. They are manufactured in 6061-T6 alloy when high mechanical strength is required (σ₀.₂ ≥ 240 MPa) for large spans and heights, or in 6063-T6 for less structurally demanding applications. Systems include vertical mullions and horizontal transoms with geometries designed to accommodate insulated glass units, EPDM seals, condensation drainage, and fixing clips. Transformación Puebla's bars in 6061 and 6063 alloys ensure the metallurgical homogeneity needed for large-section profiles with wall thicknesses up to 5 mm.
