Extruded aluminum flat bars (flat stock) are a fundamental product for metal fabrication, electrical connections, and support elements. They are produced in rectangular sections with widths from 10 to 200 mm and thicknesses from 3 to 50 mm. In 6061-T6 alloy they offer high mechanical strength for structural brackets, mounting plates, and connection flanges; in 6063-T5 they are ideal for electrical bus bars due to higher electrical conductivity (~55% IACS) and excellent surface finish. Flat bars are also extensively used as starting material for stamping, CNC cutting, and bending. Transformación Puebla produces the base bars with strict chemical composition and metallurgical structure control, ensuring uniform mechanical and electrical properties throughout the batch. Available in mill finish with cut-to-length service.
