Aluminum frame systems for windows and doors with thermal break, anodized or powder-coated finish, and dimensional tolerances per EN 12020-2.
Window and door frame profiles represent the highest volume of architectural extrusion worldwide. They are manufactured primarily in 6063-T5 alloy, which offers the best combination of extrudability, surface finish, and adequate mechanical strength for non-structural applications. Modern systems incorporate thermal break (TB) using PA66 polyamide with glass fiber, achieving Uf values ≤ 1.8 W/m²K. Transformación Puebla's 6063 alloy bars are optimized to produce profiles with class A finish, suitable for architectural anodizing (15–25 μm) and powder coating per Qualicoat/Qualanod standards. Extrusion dies enable complex hollow sections with multiple chambers for drainage, hardware, and reinforcement.
