Our silicon metal line features the Si 5505 and Si 3303 grades, available at highly competitive prices with immediate availability from our plant in San Pedro Cholula, Puebla. Si 5505 is the preferred choice for secondary casting of general-purpose AlSi alloys (380, 383, A413), while Si 3303 is ideal for high-integrity alloys such as A356 and A357 where iron control is critical. We also offer the high-purity and ultra-purity grades Si 2202 and Si 1502 for aerospace and premium automotive applications. Our master alloys include AlTi10 and AlTi5B1 for grain refinement — the latter being the global standard due to its synergistic titanium-boron effect with lasting nucleation — as well as AlSr10 and AlSr15 for eutectic silicon modification, which transforms the acicular microstructure into fibrous morphology, dramatically improving ductility and impact resistance of cast parts.
We round out our offering with pure alloying-grade metals: pure magnesium (>= 99.90 %) in ~7.5 kg ingots, essential for forming the Mg2Si hardening phase in Al-Si-Mg alloys with T6 heat treatment; electrolytic manganese (EMD) in flakes or AlMn20% master alloy, used as an iron corrector to neutralize harmful beta-AlFeSi phases; and 80% titanium compacts with flux salt, an economical alternative for direct grain refinement.
